Scott Houldin
Scott Houldin is a principal and Executive Vice President of National Resources Energy, LLC. He has been actively engaged in the National Resources Group of companies since inception handling risk management and development of several projects and energy initiatives.
National Resources Energy, LLC is an energy and infrastructure development company with a focus on HVDC sub-marine transmission lines and underground hydro pump storage projects. Mr. Houldin will have primary responsibility for directing all aspects of project permitting and risk management including oversight of engineering and environmental consultants.
Mr. Houldin has been active in the permitting of large mixed use, commercial and energy projects for the past 6 years with specific experience in the redevelopment of former energy generation sites.
In 1995, Mr. Houldin founded Twin Elms Environmental Insurance Agency, a brokerage firm dedicated to the structuring and placement of environmental insurance programs for managing Brownfields properties. He has worked on behalf of buyers, sellers, lenders, public utilities and municipalities. Previously, Mr. Houldin served as Vice President of a regional insurance agency responsible for the commercial lines division. His work experience includes risk management, underwriting and claims administration. Mr. Houldin graduated from Denison University with a BA in Economics. |
