Steven Rockefeller Jr
Mr. Rockefeller serves as an advisor, consultant and/or straight equity partner to accelerate business for a number of emerging companies in a variety of industries including real estate, mobile technology, commercial banking, renewable energy, 3-D printing, insurance, asset management, and transdermal drug delivery. His interests in these companies are managed through Re-echo Holdings, LLLC which was founded by Steven to offer broader ownership in exchange for added support, e.g., sales and marketing, to the companies Steven works to assist.
Prior to his work with early stage private equity beginning in 2004, Steven served as a Managing Director for Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management. In that capacity, beginning in 1996, Steven developed a focus on small business loans to the poor through the creation of the Deutsche Bank Micro-credit Development Fund. This fund is a unique partnership between the bank and its clients to support micro-credit programs worldwide. Steven currently serves on the Development Committee for Grameen Foundation and has served as its chair for three years. In recognition of Steven’s longstanding support of micro-credit, he received a Fulbright Award at The United Nations for dedicated service in poverty alleviation.
Steven serves on the corporate boards of BioChemics,
Tracer Imaging, and Augment Communications. Steven received
his Master's of Public and Private Management from Yale
University, and his B.A. from Fairfield University.
Steven and his wife, Kimberly, reside in Westchester
County, New York with their three children.
